New Xbox Console Leaks Online 2024

A recently certified Xbox console has emerged in South Korea, bearing the model number 2089. This newly unveiled device has been identified as an Xbox development kit.

Version 1: Microsoft has been rumored to be considering a mid-generation hardware update for its Xbox Series consoles since 2023. Speculations suggest that the upcoming device may be a digital-only variant of the Series X. Amidst Microsoft's legal dispute with the FTC regarding the Activision Blizzard acquisition, leaked court documents accidentally unveiled the alleged design of this disc-less Xbox Series X. The leaked images portrayed a device that is similar in size to the $499 console, but with a cylindrical shape instead of a rectangular one.

1. A potential Mid-Gen Xbox Console Refresh could be on the way. Six months later, an unidentified Microsoft hardware was certified by South Korea's National Radio Research Agency (NRRA). The regulatory listing on March 18, discovered by Twitter user KoreaXboxNews, identifies the device as an "XDK console," suggesting it is an Xbox dev kit with built-in debugging tools and other features to aid game development. The last XDK certificate Microsoft received in South Korea was on June 11, 2020, for Xbox Series X and Series S dev kits, three months before the official announcement of both consoles.
